The robotics company Figure has signed a collaboration agreement with OpenAI for the development of next-generation artificial intelligence models.😼 Robots seem to be getting closer to becoming our best friends at work. In any case, the future promises to be interesting! The robotics company Figure, founded by Brett Adcock, is an innovator in the development of humanoid robots. Adcock, who has a 20-year experience in the technology industry and founder of the aerospace company Archer Aviation, is now fully focused on Figure AI project and has brought in outstanding robotics specialists from leading technology companies, including Tesla and Boston Dynamics. The company is developing the world's first commercially viable autonomous humanoid robot, Figure 01, designed for work in areas such as manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and retail. The robot, roughly 168 cm tall, can lift loads up to 20 kg, weighs 60 kg, has an autonomous operating time of up to 5 hours and can move at a speed of 1.2 m/s. One of the key features of Figure 01 is its ability to dynamic walking, which is close to natural human and allows the robot to move effectively and perform various tasks in space. This breakthrough in walking technology makes it capable of performing a wide range of tasks, including carrying boxes and bags, demonstrating its potential for use in various spheres of activity.
