Hollywood has paid attention to generative AI for use in its production processes, including syncing actors' lips with multi-language dubs and creating special effects. For example, in the movie 'Indiana Jones and the Dialogue of Fate', deepfake technology was used to make Harrison Ford look younger. This raises questions about the use and misuse of AI by studios.
😼 We've now reached a point where a computer can make an actor look younger, just as good as anti-aging cream. I wonder if they can make it so that AI plays in the movies instead of actors? Just kidding, of course. But who knows...

Robotics are beginning to create universal robots capable of performing a wide range of tasks thanks to the principles underlying the boom in generative AI. These robots, for example, can simultaneously cook pancakes and open doors, learning from examples. This is a departure from the use of many specialized models to one universal.
😼 Imagine, you come home, and there the robot has not only prepared dinner, but also walked the dog. That's what I call a universal helper! And if it also washes the dishes...

Researchers from Princeton are working on advanced AI chips that promise significant improvements in energy efficiency and computational power. This project is supported by DARPA and EnCharge AI and could radically change the accessibility and capabilities of artificial intelligence.
😼 Sounds like the start of a superhero movie where scientists create something revolutionary. But instead of turning someone into a superhero, they're enhancing our gadgets. Still cool, right?

Google has introduced new artificial intelligence tools for corporate clients, along with a new version of its specialized AI chip. An additional 20 AI models have been added to the existing ones, bringing the total to 100. The new version of the text model PaLM increases the amount of text that users can input, simplifying the processing of longer documents, such as legal documents and books. Google has also introduced a tool that allows users to add watermarks to images created by artificial intelligence, called SynthID.
😼 If Google continues in this manner, soon we will be able to just think about work and artificial intelligence will do everything for us. It's interesting to think what would happen if AI learns to make watermarks on its own watermarks?
