Jeffrey Hinton, godfather of artificial intelligence and pioneer of deep learning, has made significant contributions to the development of systems capable of learning based on external data similar to the human brain. His student, Ilya Sutskever, working under his guidance, achieved significant successes, including the development of a machine learning algorithm for data visualization and participation in the creation of AlexNet, a system capable of analyzing thousands of images to learn to recognize objects with high accuracy. 😼 Perhaps if Hinton practiced magic, he would be the Gandalf of AI world. And Ilya Sutskever, following in his footsteps, reminds us that behind every great AI is a great mentor. It's interesting, can these algorithms learn to make coffee as well as they recognize cats on the internet?
